The Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut awarded $2,500 grants each to two local nonprofit agencies, the Housatonic Valley Coalition Against Substance Abuse and the Torrington Chapter of FISH Inc.
These grants were given as a result of the involvement of the students of both Housatonic Valley Regional High School and Litchfield High School in the foundation’s Youth in Philanthropy program.
